To do that, ask yourself these questions<\/strong>. Here\u2019s a short list to start.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Do I always make decisions based on what\u2019s best for the company?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Am I consistent and even-handed?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Am I clear and direct in interactions with associates?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Am I fair-minded?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Do I hold myself to the same high standards I set for others?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Do I listen well?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Would I rather be liked or respected?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Am I a good role model? \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Personal brand building starts with the right answers to those questions. If you really want to lead, take those questions seriously.<\/em><em>When leaders pay attention to their personal brands, organizations have a much better chance to flourish.
