They generally fall into one of these\u00a0categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bad-mouthing a coworker, colleague, competitor or better yet, your boss<\/li>\n<li>Placing blame\u00a0before all the facts have been gathered<\/li>\n<li>Spinning the truth<\/li>\n<li>Speaking with \u201cbig\u201d meaningless words (psychobabble)<\/li>\n<li>Crying wolf<\/li>\n<li>Taking undeserved credit<\/li>\n<li>Fast finger pointing<\/li>\n<li>Pleading the \u201c5<sup>th<\/sup>\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Refusing to admit a mistake or apologize<\/li>\n<li>Pulling a &#8220;disappearing act&#8221; or \u00a0playing the &#8220;silence&#8221; game.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>How many times in the course of a day do you sound or appear untrustworthy?
