These are some highlights from our\u00a02017 poster:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/trustacrossamerica.com\/poster.shtml\"><em><strong>Do\u2019s and Don\u2019ts to Foster Organizational Trust\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>DO<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Act from the belief that trust can be measured in terms of its impact on business outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Trust yourself first if you want others to trust you.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Lead by example to allow trust to flourish.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Make sure your team members are crystal clear on your organization\u2019s mission and values.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Act in accordance with those values and ethics so all stakeholders can trust you.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>DON\u2019T<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Take trust for granted or simply assume it exists.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Expect organizations to reflect trust if it\u2019s not embodied at the very top.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Fall into trap of condoning or practicing cordial hypocrisy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Think trust is too difficult to talk about or tackle as an organizational, team, or personal relationship issue.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Let ego, lack of personal awareness, or overt self-reliance impede trustworthiness.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Thank you to all our 2017 contributors.
